These vases were originally produced in the late 1980’s and had been exported and owned personally by myself for almost 40 years.
They are very decorative pieces, enamelled throughout by hand stand and used to stand in my conservatory and of latter the main lounge. The Japanese designs are traditional and similar to early 19th century examples.

They are in excellent condition with no damage.

The scenes depicted are cleverly hand enamelled with great detail and overpainting using gold.

They have fluted tops with a pair of gold covered handles to give them a balanced look.

A fine pair which would be hard to replace for the price being asked.
