PAIR OF SOLID BRASS SNAKE CANDLESTICK WITH COILED TAILS

A rare pair of hand crafted solid brass snake candlesticks with their tails coiled to for a stable base.
The snakes are modelled on the Adder which is postured sitting up with head raised and ready to strike.

There is fine engraved detail with the scales evident on the coiled tails.

Very good condition and well polished throughout with the cast finish being smooth.
