CHINOISERIE ORIENTAL ROCCO CABINET

One of the most delightful and outrageous pieces of oriental english furniture produced strickly to seduce the onlookers eye,with an elaborate rocco style carved and turned wooden base smoothered in gold leaf.The door inges and hand made intricate lock plate are all chaised with punched decoration and made of brass.The main door has a mixture of plaster gilt onlay finshed with hand drawn decoration of birds flowers and figurines

The measurements are 41 Inches x 17 Inches.
Height is 45 1/2 Inches.
Inside the two front opening doors is a split removable shelf also painted in a deep cream colour

Dating this cabinet to Approx 1880-1900.
