We are offering for sale this delightful landscape oil on canvas by the Epsom, Surrey artist Arthur John Gadd, who has signed the painting in the lower left hand corner. The painting depicts a man walking his dog near to a lake in a snowy landscape. This is probably the lake on Epsom Common, a location that the artist has painted in the past.

Arthur John Gadd was born on 12th December 1928 in Surrey and was living in Epsom.
He married Glenys M. Winter in 1966. He painted from an early age mainly small landscapes in oils.
The painting is framed in a very nice ornate gilt frame and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
