Georgian River Landscape Oil Painting on Artists Board Glazed

We are pleased to offer for sale this quality late Georgian period (1800-1811) Oil Painting depicting a shallow river with cows shading under trees in the distance and families picnicking with their children playing around the trees.

Finished to a very high standard indeed and not to be confused with the average work.

This example has been very finely painted with immense attention to detail and almost as if executed under a magnifying glass where the distant figures of children and cattle are concerned.

Recently framed in a 1 1/4 inch gilt wooden surround and remounted using acid free cream card under glass and ready to hang.

Excellent Original Condition, well preserved with colours still rich and vibrant.
The frame is fairly new with just very minute wear.
