19THC DUTCH TAVERN INTERIOR OIL ON COPPER GENRE PAINTING

Early 19thc Dutch Tavern Scene painted in oils on copper and presented in the original gesso gilt frame.

The quality and detail is excellent,with the oils still being bright and vibrant,depicting two jolly
gentlemen drinking and encouraging a young lady to become intoxicated.

CONDITION
The condition is excellent as the painting had previously been framed under glass,later having been removed.

FRAME
The frame has had a few good repairs and is solid and looks fine now after recent work and a little regilding.
