Description
I am delighted to offer for sale this stunning Victorian Painting by the artist Charles Henry Passey, who has signed the painting in the lower right hand corner.
-
This is a fine detailed painting beautifully depicting a panoramic landscape view of a cornfield being cut.
-
The location is probably a location in Surrey, with a village and church spire just visible, while in the foreground, four men are cutting corn. To the left foreground, near the stile out of the field, are some corn stooks, the result of their earlier labours.
