Description
A lovely as found Oval Mirror having sectional gilt gesso frame with oval flower patera rosette decoration with gadrooned edging dating approximately late Victorian period around 1900.The glass is heavy quarter thickness and the silver is all good, no speckling or mistyness.
The design is quite special, not often found and gives this mirror a special unique individual look.
Offered at a reasonable price for such a unique design and good sized mirror, suitable to hang in a bedroom, hallway or drawing room lounge.
CONDITION
There are a few tiny bits of moulding absent being lost in the past, but nothing major as the main frame
detail is all present and solid.
The mirror can be hung vertically or horizontally and has an original wire attached.
The back is also original and is made from a piece of plywood.
